The luxury eyewear brand CUTLER AND GROSS and rock’n’roll jewellers THE GREAT FROG joined forces on an exclusive collaboration. It combined over 100 years of heritage craftmanship to create collectible eyewear that’s never been seen before. Building on the success of the first collection,CUTLER AND GROSS and THE GREAT FROG are going into the second round! The collection draws inspiration from 60s counterculture and the adrenaline-chasing moments of outlaw life. In a masterful meeting of minds, it combines CUTLER AND GROSS’s unprecedented craftsmanship with THE GREAT FROG’s anarchic signatures. The result? Legendary styles steeped in rebellion.
Each frame is embellished with THE GREAT FROG’s anarchic iconography in Sterling Silver. THE GREAT FROG Creative Director, Reino Lehtonen-Riley, hand carves the initial emblems and whittles them into wax. From there, they’re shaped into a mould and cast in solid 925 Sterling Silver by a jeweller in Vicenza. The polished emblems are embedded into the frames, which are handcrafted in Italy by our team of expert artisans.
The collection comprises six statement styles, broken down into eight sunglasses andfive opticals. Blurring the boundaries between the sacred and profane, three styles take it one step further, gilded with emblems that are cast in Sterling Silver and plated in gleaming 24K Gold. These limited edition frames are available in highly exclusive numbers.
